Refund Policy

At drivendesignlabs, we prioritize clear communication, quality outcomes, and mutual respect. Our refund policy reflects a fair balance between the time and effort invested in a project and the client’s expectations. Below are the terms that govern refund eligibility:

1. Full Refund (Before Work Starts)

Clients are entitled to a 100% refund if they choose to cancel the project before any actual work has commenced. This includes design, development, research, planning, or any form of task execution.

2. Partial Refund (After Work Begins)

Once the project has started, refunds are handled based on the percentage of work completed. The client will receive all deliverables created up to the point of cancellation (design files, code, documents, etc.). The refundable amount (if any) will exclude:

  • Time already spent on the project

  • Software, plugins, or licenses purchased

  • Resources allocated or subcontracted work

  • Administrative or operational costs

3. Phase-Based Workflow

Our projects follow a milestone structure. After each milestone is approved by the client and payment is received, the phase is considered closed and non-refundable. Work on the next phase begins only after formal approval of the previous one.

4. No Refund for Voluntary Cancellations

If a client chooses to cancel the project midway due to personal reasons, loss of interest, or change in business direction, no refund will be issued. However, the client will receive whatever work has been completed and paid for up to that point.

5. No Refund for Delays Caused by Third Parties

Delays due to external vendors, hosting companies, third-party APIs, or technical outages beyond our control do not qualify for refunds. We will make all efforts to resolve such issues quickly and keep the client informed.

6. Client’s Role in Timely Progress

The client is responsible for providing required materials, approvals, and communication within a reasonable timeframe. Delays on the client’s part can affect delivery timelines but do not entitle them to a refund.

7. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be granted in the following situations:

  • Project delay due to incomplete client inputs

  • Change of requirements after the project begins

  • Revision requests made after final approval

  • Additional feature requests not included in the original scope

  • Lack of response or cooperation from the client’s side
